Terms and Conditions


Reference to  "Slick" in these terms and conditions means the "Slick Merchandiser" owned and operated by Simeon Ferreira and reference to 'you' or 'your' means the person/s identified as the customer in Slick online sales process.

 

By clicking the "Check Out" button you are agreeing to, and acknowledging that you fully understand, these terms and conditions for your Slick merchandise purchase.

1. ORDERS & DELIVERY

a) All orders placed for merchandise through the Slick website are subject to confirmation and acceptance by Slick.

b) Slick may vary prices in the event of prices changes or mistakes made by suppliers/artist on reasonable prior notice to you. If Slick requests payment for increased prices, you may cancel the order by giving notice to Slick, which must be received within 5 days of the announcement of the increase.

c) Slick or its agent( Fastway Couriers) will deliver the merchandise you order to the address you specify in your order, within the agreed time frame of 2-4 working days, subject to availability. Where the merchandise is not available, you will be notified as soon as possible. Anyone at the delivery address who receives the merchandise will be presumed by Slick to be authorized to receive it.

d) Unless otherwise advised, Slick will dispatch your order by local courier by Fastway Couriers. For urgent delivery, please contact Slick directly at 072 211 8808 or info@slickmerchandiser.com . Additional charges may apply.

e) If there is no one present or available to receive your order at the delivery address specified, Slick may charge additional delivery fees for re delivery.

f) Once the merchandise is delivered, ownership becomes your responsibility.

 

2 . RETURNS & REFUNDS

a) All merchandise delivered by Slick which are damaged or defective may be returned within 7 days of delivery at no cost to you.

b) Unless otherwise stated at the time of payment, the prices of merchandise will be inclusive of applicable taxes.

c) Slick will exchange merchandise returned are in their original packaging, unopened, and in sale-able condition.

d) Freight cannot be credited or refunded unless Slick has sent incorrect merchandise.

e) You must present your original invoice as proof of purchase to obtain refund.

f) No part of your merchandise purchase may be resold or offered for resale(including via online auction sites) or used for advertising, promoting or other commercial purposes( including competitions or trade promotions), either by yourself or another person. In the event of this condition being breached, all warranties will become void.

 

3. PRICES & PAYMENT

a) All prices quoted in the website are in South African Rand (R).

b) For each online order, you must pay applicable price for the relevant merchandise and any transaction, delivery and/or handling fees specified on the web site at that time.

c) All orders are subject to credit card approval and billing address verification.

d) Slick is unable to accept COD(Collect on Delivery) charges. Payment must be cleared before the merchandise is dispatched.

e) Once a purchase has been finalized, no cancellation or refund is permitted.

f) Confirmation of your purchase will be sent to the e-mail address which you provide. You must notify Slick immediately if there have been any mistakes with your purchase.

 

4. PRODUCTS

a) Specifications are those given by the supplier/artist. Variations may occur. Warranty provision is the responsibility of the supplier or their agent. Slick is not a warranty agent for all products listed on this website.

 

5. USER ACCOUNT

a) You agree to take responsibility for the safekeeping of your user name and password. You are liable if your user name and password us used by an unauthorized person. You agree to release and indemnify Slick in connection with any use(whether authorized or unauthorized) of your user name or password. Slick may suspend or cancel your account at any time without prior notice.

 

6. PRIVACY

a) Slick uses the Payfast solution for payment gateway for merchandise sales. Personal information you provide is used for purposes of processing your request and will be transferred to Payfast server in South Africa. By continuing with your purchase you agree to this transfer.

b) While all reasonable precautions are taken to ensure the security of data you transmit online, Slick accepts no liability for any loss or expense caused due to fraud or any other form of online security breach. Slick does not warrant and cannot ensure the security of any information which you transmit.

 

7. LIABILITY

a) Slick assumes no liability for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in transmission, or electronic failure occurring in relation to your purchase.

b) Any liability of Slick in connection with merchandise supplied to you will be limited to merchandise supplied, the replacement of the merchandise or the supply of equivalent merchandise, subject to any non-excludable liability for breach of conditions or warranties implied by legislation and to the maximum extent permitted by law, at the election of Slick.

 

8. CHANGE TO TERMS

a) Each odrer is governed by the terms and conditions current when the order is placed. Slick may add to, delete or otherwise change these terms and conditions without notice. It is your responsibility to read and understand these terms and conditions each time you place an order.
